Chainlink has announced a strategic partnership with Infosys, one of the largest IT service providers in the world ($40 billion in market value). Infosys’s blockchain solutions will connect traditional finance (TradFi) to blockchain networks and run on Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol, Chainlink Runtime Environment, Automated Compliance Engine, and Proof of Reserve.
Notably, Infosys provides banking and payments solutions for more than 1.7 billion customers globally. The company is one of the largest IT companies in the world that secures critical financial infrastructure, and this partnership marks one of its first major blockchain-related moves.
Chainlink’s partnership with Infosys can also be seen as a response to the growing regulatory clarity around blockchain technology, especially in 2025-2026. With the EU’s MiCA legislation, Singapore’s Virtual Asset Regulatory Framework, and the blockchain-friendly regulations in the UAE, it has become clear that governments understand the importance of interoperability between traditional and decentralized finance.

By partnering with Infosys, Chainlink has entered the competition with Accenture (another big tech company that has partnered with blockchain startups) to position itself as the preferred technology partner for building connected financial ecosystems. Other large IT companies, including Tata Consultancy Services, are also considering similar options.
While there have been multiple partnerships between blockchain data oracles and traditional financial institutions, most of them have been proof-of-concept initiatives. In comparison, Infosys has already implemented its Finacle core banking solution across hundreds of banks, and thus, joining the blockchain ecosystem could enable it to distribute additional products on top of the existing financial infrastructure that serves billions of people.
